What you can do with pulpHome

Who is it for?

Anyone who handles a household's paperwork: people living alone, families, shared custody, someone caring for a relative. pulpHome tells you where the insurance contract is, when the school meals are due, when the car needs its inspection or when the washing machine warranty runs out, without a ring binder.

Your files

pulpHome takes PDFs, photos, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OpenDocument files (it reads their text), emails and bank statements. It keeps every file as it is and can export everything to a .phome backup. Automatic understanding mostly follows French paperwork conventions; it can get things wrong, and every detail it reads should be checked against the document.

File types recognised by pulpHome:

  • .phome
  • .phmail
  • .pdf
  • .ofx
  • .qfx
  • .qif

Frequently asked questions

Is pulpHome an alternative to Paperless?

For a household, largely yes: drop papers in, read their text, file and search them, plus reminders and a budget. It runs in the browser with no server to install, but it does not sync between devices in real time: you move from one device to another with a backup.

Do my papers leave my device?

No. Papers, text read, health and budget data stay on the device. Only pulpAssist, off by default, receives a document's text if you ask it to.

Do I have to give access to my bank account?

No. pulpHome connects to no bank and never asks for your credentials: you import the statement file you downloaded.

Do reminders work when pulpSuite is closed?

pulpHome notifications only appear while pulpSuite is open. For a dependable reminder on your phone, send due dates to the pulpInbox calendar, synced with your phone.
