Your documents filed, versioned and kept the right way

pulpArchive files your documents in a filing plan, keeps every version without ever changing it, organises approval and tracks retention through to disposal. No account, no server, all on your device.

What you can do with pulpArchive

Who is it for?

For a small business, an association, a firm or a department that wants to find its documents, know which version is the authoritative one, prove who approved what, and stop keeping what should no longer be kept. pulpArchive does not replace certified archiving with evidential value.

Your files

pulpArchive takes any file: it displays PDFs and images, shows the text of office files (with a button to open them in pulpDoc, pulpSheet or pulpSlide), and reads text for search. It can export everything as a zip folder with an index.csv, and keep a full .parchive backup.

File types recognised by pulpArchive:

  • .parchive

Frequently asked questions

Is pulpArchive an alternative to SharePoint, M-Files or Alfresco?

For individual use or a small team, largely yes: filing plan, versions, approval, retention. Sharing through a synced folder, a phone or a guest is available; it does not yet handle per-person permissions or real-time editing, which will come later with the pulpSuite server.

Do my documents leave my device?

No. Files and records stay in browser storage. A small local gateway is only used if you import from a Nextcloud, and it neither writes nor logs your credentials.

Is the archive legally certified?

No. pulpArchive keeps each version’s fingerprint and detects any alteration, but certified archiving with evidential value (NF Z42-013) needs a third party and procedures the application does not replace.

Are retention periods pre-filled?

No, on purpose: they depend on your activity and on the law. You define them with your adviser; the application only offers a clearly marked example rule.
